Advertising is the most successful business in moving companies move forward and grow. Companies spend millions of dollars in advertising, including prime spots in the Super Bowl, to build their reputation and customer interest to drive sales. Even in the social media, companies pay strong and popular influencers to advertise their products and drive further sales to appeal to the youth. It is important for companies to take into consideration what type of advertising works today and what creates the most influence.

Levinson shares a great quote from Leo Burnett, “plan the sale when you plan the ad”. (Levinson, pg. 59, 2007) The online medium is the new place to go to move product quickly. Online marketing is a strong platform to develop campaigns that impact a much larger audience than traditional marketing. Advertisers can develop a calendar with how long they would like the advertisements to continue with their partners. Advertisers even take advantage of the most recent trend: podcasts. Podcasts are easy listens for almost everyone as they commute to work or other locations. By listeners developing interest and become a fan of certain podcasts, they tend to be more interested in the advertisements and more willing to purchase the product/service. It is imperative that guerrillas take advantage of the current trending platforms that are drawing users to build the best campaign for customer interaction and sales.
