Week 7 - MBA 6101 - Guerrilla Marketing
To determine if the marketing campaign is worth the effort, it. is important to review that the marketing campaign is profitable before looking to scrap it. It is best to weigh the campaign based off its profiting dollars rather than removing it completely to save money. As shared in the text, the accountant will be the best for this as they can tell if a campaign is slowing down or still drawing in money. (Levinson, p. 71, 2007) Another method in getting one’s product/service out in the world is to offer a trade, or barter, that the other party would be interested in. Doing so allows both parties to receive a fair but needed end of the trade that allows them to move forward in their own business.
In the marketing world, products/services can be promoted in almost any aspect that will create sales. Today’s digital world allows for a better way of tracking marketing efforts and developing stronger connections with customers. Bartering has become extremely popular in the digital world as companies send their products to influencers in return for testimonials and reviews of their products. Most of the time these reviews tend to be positive which, in turn, incites their fans to be more inclined to purchase the product. Another method is of companies negotiating a dollar amount in return for an ad of their product/service and showing their customers why it is important to use it. Proper marketing can take a company to the next level and have it grown at an exponential rate.
